I really hope nobody is taking anything said in those arguments as personal attacks. Yes, it has been heated, and yes there have been some emotional posts, but that comes as a direct result of the love each of us feels towards quidditch. When people feel passionately about something, they are likely to passionately defend it.
I think it’s important to go into any kind of discussion/argument about quidditch knowing that the other side is only arguing so much because they love the sport just as much as you do. Yes, there will be disagreements, but in the end, it’s for the good of the game.
So, I’m not going to be harboring any kind of ill-will towards anyone I’ve debated with over this, and I hope the same can be said about them. When all is said and done, I’m sure that we can get back to the love we showed at last year’s Midwest Cup.
Lastly, I want to apologize to anyone who I may have accidentally offended in the course of these arguments. It’s hard for me to know what the line is for a lot of people, because I am a very difficult person to offend, and sometimes I forget that my line is not most people’s line. So, if I offended you, I am sincerely sorry, and I ask that if I ever happen to offend any of you reading this, to please tell me. I need to know what not to say!
